Kwame Building Group named construction manager

Kwame Building Group has been named construction manager and owner's representative on a new, $10 million facility for St. Louis Community College's William J. Harrison Northside Education Center in St. Louis. The approximately 30,000-square-foot project will include classroom facilities. Construction is scheduled to begin in winter 2009 and be completed in 2010. The architect is KAI.
The project will be built for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. The rating system is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of "green" buildings.
