New Hotel Opens in Missouri Research Park
More room at the inn
Hotels in the county generally have seen a decline in business this year, but that hasn't discouraged hotel developers. The latest to open its doors is the Wingate by Wyndham Weldon Spring, an $8 million, 64,438-square-foot facility in the Missouri Research Park, located at the intersections of highways 40 and 94. Hospitality Management Associates manages the hotel, which features 100 guest rooms, a 24-hour business center, three meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and a fitness center.
The hotel was planned several years ago, but financing difficulties delayed the project.
