$7,500 donation benefits Crisis Nursery
The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation recently presented $7,500 to the Saint Charles Crisis Nursery for the agency’s Family Emergency Fund, which helps families in crisis obtain the basic necessities of life. Donations can help prevent homelessness, child abuse and neglect by covering a utility bill, making a down payment on an apartment, and buying prescriptions, food, diapers and other family necessities.
The Saint Charles Crisis Nursery, committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides a short-term, safe haven for children, birth through age 12, whose families are faced with an emergency or crisis.
