Crisis Nursery seeks back-to-school supplies

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is sponsoring a "Back to School Drive" to send children back to school with the supplies they need.

Donations are being accepted at each of the five Crisis Nursery locations through Sept. 15. Through Aug, 15, donations can be dropped off at Big Dawg School House collection bins at metro Shop 'n Save locations.

Last year, the Crisis Nursery "Back to School Drive" collected school supplies for almost 500 children.

The wish list of most-needed items includes new backpacks, sneakers, socks, underwear, fall clothing and store gift cards.

School supplies such as binders, notebooks, calculators, loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils and art supplies such as markers, crayons and colored pencils also are needed, as are khaki pants and white, collared shirts and school uniforms.

Unwrapped items can be dropped off at any metro Shop 'n Save, or Crisis Nursery locations at 1928 Gravois Road and 11037 Breezy Point Lane.

For details, call 314-292-5770, or visit http://www.crisisnurserykids.org.
