Video game for autistic children

Vision Audio Inc. recently announced the release of "EASe Off-Road," a video game designed to help train children with autism to cope with sensory integration challenges.
Some children wih the brain disorder react to sound in a hypersensitive manner, and others become defensive and appear deaf.
More than 10 years ago, Vision Audio created a line of music CDs to help kids, including those with autism, learn to cope with auditory hypersensitivity.
The new series expands on that sound-based therapy by training the child to develop visual systems responsible for organizing balance and body awareness.
The game includes driving, jumping over hills, crashing into trees, and flying off cliffs. Tracking moving targets challenges a child's eye movement and encourages the child to concentrate.
