The Technology Park at Fort Leonard Wood was developed in association with the University of Missouri and the State of Missouri, through the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC), and Fort Leonard Wood.
- The park is located in St. Robert, Missouri on a secure 62-acre. The base is served by fiber optic rings which can be extended into the new property.
- This location was additionally attractive because of access to interstate, rail and regional airport, as well as proximity to the University of Missouri - Rolla (30 miles to the northeast)
- A demand survey has projected baseline build-out of 250,000 sf in the first five years. Office space represents 125,000 sf of the build-out, 100,000 sf in formal education classrooms and labs, 15,000 in a large-equipment training facility and 10,000 sf warehouse/distribution operation.
- The university has constructed an 18,000 sf building configured for shared office space and anticipates developing 100,000 sf of office space in the first five years.

Background on Fort Leonard Wood
- In 1999, the U.S. Army moved its Chemical School and Military Police School to Ft. Leonard Wood from Fort McCleelan, Alabama. These two schools joined the Army engineer School already located at Ft. Leonard Wood to create the Maneuver Support Center (MANSCEN) command.
- Fort Leonard Wood also has been assigned homeland security and counter-terrorism training and is the only facility for humanitarian demining training.
- The average daily population of Fort. Leonard Wood has increased from 21,000 to over 30,000. Approximately 12,00 of those are military dependents who have historically had trouble finding employment in the local job market.
