Young Professionals Board Raises $14,400 for Saint Louis Crisis Nursery

ST. LOUIS, MO – The Young Professionals Board of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery raised $14,400 at their second annual “Party with a Purpose” held in November at Bar Napoli. Two hundred guests attended the event.

Proceeds will benefit Crisis Nursery’s five 24-hour safe havens for children and its programs to prevent child abuse and neglect throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles region.

Special guests included County Executive Charlie Dooley and Heidi Glaus from KSDK-TV. Co-chairs of the event were Bryan Kaemmerer, Cathy Lambright Thayer and Gary Woodcock. Committee members included Christine Bainbridge, Teri Beth Gooch, Andrew Lammert, Katie Lordo and Patrick McGinnis. Event sponsors included Gail and Stephen Lambright, Carrollton Bank, McCarthy, Leonard & Kaemmerer, P.C., Glazer's MidWest, Cathy & Matt Thayer, F.A.S.T. and St. Louis Auto Dealers.

The Crisis Nursery, committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides a short-term, safe haven for children, birth through age 12, whose families are faced with an emergency or crisis. Located at five sites, the Crisis Nursery provides 24-hour care, 365 days a year, to children in the greater St. Louis, St. Charles, Southern Illinois, and surrounding regions.
