Saint Louis Crisis Nursery raised $81,000 through golf tournament

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Saint Louis Crisis Nursery raised $81,000 through its 23rd annual Charity Golf Classic held at Forest Hills Country Club in Chesterfield last month. Steve Savard, KMOV-TV News 4 sports director, was honorary chairperson and conducted the live auction at the golf tournament.

Emerson sponsored the event along with Accenture, Centene, Hardee’s and Save-A-Lot. Additional sponsors included BJC Healthcare, General Mills, KPMG, US Bank Dealer Services, Steve and Pam Auer, Doctors Nanci and James Bobrow, First Bank, Wendy Dyer, Murphy Mechanical Contractors and Engineers, Nestle Purina Petcare, Shop n Save, Jim Wagner, Towers Watson and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Winning the golf tournament were the Cadeau team of Craig Fish, Greg Rutherford, Gary Shenberg and Tom Barry; and the Hardee’s Team of Eric Peterson, Mark Jenkins, John Mayes and Bruce Frazer. The “Longest Drive” winners were Tom Barry and Joyce Jackson. The “Closest to the Pin” winners were Gary Shenberg and Jan Miles.

The Crisis Nursery, committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides a short-term, safe haven for children, birth through age 12, whose families are faced with an emergency or crisis.
