Chesterfield Medical Institute Selects Walton Construction to Pre-plan and Build Medical Complex

ST. LOUIS, MO– Walton Construction St. Louis has been selected as general contractor on the new $6.7 million Chesterfield Medical Institute in Chesterfield, Missouri. Walton also will provide preconstruction, estimating and value engineering on the 20,000-square-foot medical complex. The architect on the project is Feeler-Scheer Architects, LLC.
The Chesterfield Medical Institute will feature high-end finishes including ornamental glass handrails, an interior glazed curtainwall and intricate drywall ceilings and soffits.
Plans for the two-story Chesterfield Medical Institute include an outpatient surgical unit that will house three different medical practices at 1001 Chesterfield Parkway East. Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center, West County Dermatology and Generation Dental Group will occupy the building.
“This will be a fast-paced construction schedule,” said Craig Phillips, project manager, Walton Construction. “We plan to expedite the procurement of long lead items and efficiently manage the work flow throughout the project in a manner necessary to meet the schedule.”
