Engineering News-Record Ranks Walton Construction Among Nation’s Top 100 Contractors

St. LOUIS, MO – Walton Construction ranked 92nd on the 2009 Engineering News–Record list of Top 400 Contractors released in May. Nationwide, Walton had 2008 revenues of $706 million and secured $651 million in new contracts. Walton St. Louis, one of the top 15 contractors in the St. Louis area, had 2008 revenues of $79.8 million.

According to ENR, total 2008 revenues for the Top 400 General Contractors were $338.38 billion, up 11.2 percent over 2007 revenues. ENR is the leading weekly magazine providing news, analysis, data and opinion for the construction industry worldwide.
