Communications Specialist
Maggie Rhynes
Maggie has been addicted to media for as long as she can remember. She began writing for newspapers when she was only 16 and continues to be fascinated with the power of the media.
Combining her love of writing, talking and public service, Maggie pursued a career in public relations. She enjoys the opportunity to represent clients in the not-for-profit, education, political and arts sectors.
Maggie serves her clients at Synergy Group through her friendly relationships with the media, and by writing and distributing news releases. She also writes newsletters and marketing materials, and keeps the Synergy Group Media Center up-to-date with the latest client news and media materials.
Maggie is a graduate of Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville with a degree in mass communications. At SIUE she worked as a section editor, reproter and page designer for The Alestle. When she isn't reading stacks of newspapers and analyzing the evening news, Maggie loves being outdoors, taking photos and cooking.
