Let's Go Out For Dinner

Crisis Nursery hosts Celebrity Waiters & Waitresses Night

Save the Date:
August 21, 2008

St. Louis Crisis Nursery has the perfect excuse for dinner out on Thursday, August 21. Their 18th annual Celebrity Waiters and Waitresses Night will be held at Monarch Restaurant in Maplewood from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dinner guests can enjoy Monarch's fine cuisine and wines while being served by St. Louis celebrities.

The celebrities will do whatever they can to encourage generous, tax-deductible tips since only the tips, not the meal purchase, benefit the nursery.

Entertainment includes celebrity impersonators and a raffle with a chance to win airfare from American Airlines. The event raised more than $72,000 last year and the organization has set a goal of $100,000 for 2008.

More than 50 St. Louis celebrities are slated to serve dinners and drinks, including St. Louis County Exec Charlie Dooley, top execs of local corporations and health care centers, Craig Cornett of 93.7 The Bull, Tim Ezell of Fox Channel 2 and Heidi Glaus of KSDK Channel 5.

New this year is a free After Party for all Monarch patrons, across the street at Jive and Wail, Maplewood's dueling piano bar. The After Party is hosted by Crisis Nursery's Young Professionals Board and starts at 9 p.m.

Make your dinner reservations soon -- space is limited. Call Monarch Restaurant at 314-644-3995.
