Over the past few months, Saint Louis Crisis Nursery has seen a 25% increase in calls for help.The stress of a sagging economy has placed many parents and families in unprecedented crisis situations.
Crisis Nursery offers a helpline, a 24-hour safe haven for children and parents throughout the metro St. Louis and St. Charles County region.
To support these efforts, Crisis Nursery sponsors Celebrity Waitresses' & Waiters' Night. Now in its 19th year, this not-to-be-missed event will take over Cardwell's at the Plaza and Canyon Café at Plaza Frontenac with expanded entertainment, a silent auction and more than 80 celebrities. County Exec Charlie Dooley is Honorary Chair.
Entertainment will include roaming performers, magicians, celebrity impersonators and caricature artists. Silk Pajamas will provide live jazz music in the Plaza Frontenac Center Court. Raffle items include two Cardinal's luxury suites for 20 people, courtesy of GKN Aerospace and Hardee's.
